It's quite a journey to set up your own website from scratch, but this is testament to the fact that it can be done. I have a few computer skills, not all that many, but I'm reasonably good at following instructions. If you are too, I'd encourage you to give it a go!
I'm keeping things as simple as possible because I have no other choice. I'll add new features as I learn them but have, as of yet, no real plan for this site except for it to continue to evolve as I do.
The set-up of the web server was managed with instructions (and a bit of help) from Derek Sivers who I heard interviewed by Tim Ferris. The text I'm using to teach myself more is HTML, CSS & JavaScript Web Publishing by Lemay, Colburn, and Kyrnin, 7th Ed. 2016. I got my copy from the public library, of which I'm a huge fan.
